Do you dig cacophonous sounds from the belly of a submarine? Well then you’re in for a treat. Released in July of 2018 in Portland Oregon, this is a concept album about a guy named “Derwin” that builds a submarine and takes it into the ocean. The recording was approached as an experiment that would reflect this concept. To get there it took various shoebox tape recorders and unconventional noise makers such as a drill, a vacuum cleaner, and a bathtub full of water. Jump on in, the water’s fine!
